Reasons behind Julian Alvarez moved to Athletico Madrid revealed.


The Argentine attacker said he left for the Spanish side because he needed new challenge, and something new.

MTH of sports gathered that Julian Alvarez was not happy with lack of enough playing times during his stays with the cityzens, as quoted by FABRIZIO ROMANO "In the Champions League Final, I didn't get in. In the semi final, I didn't play much, and I wanted to play in those kind of games".

Alvarez joined Manchester City in the year 2022 from River plate and won six club trophies before leaving last summer.

Julian Alvarez has shown the glimpse of what he can offer this season with Athletico Madrid after netting 20 goals in 39 games in all competitions.
